Maggie wins NanoString nCounter Host Reponse Grant

Graduate student Maggie Doolin is working on a new project studying host response to parasites. In this work, she will characterize host and microbiome changes through parasite infection and clearance, in mice with “normal” and low diversity gut microbiota. The NanoString tech will allow a broad read on tissue-specific immune response to worm infection in the duodenum – the site of infection. Congratulations Maggie!
