July Trip to Morongo Valley, CA

Dylan was approved for travel to the Mojave Desert to continue his work on hybridization and host genomics of toxin degradation. He and Maggie (fellow graduate student and housemate) had a very successful trip to his site at Morongo Valley, CA. The pair live-trapped and released 83 woodrats (Neotoma lepida and Neotoma bryanti) in 3 nights to continue the longitudinal sampling plan of this site, now totaling 8 trips tracking woodrats over the past 2 years.
